We are keeping fully up to date with the guidance of the government and Law Society following the emergency measures that are now in place to fight Covid 19. Following the guidance produced, home renters or movers should now delay physically moving home whilst the lockdown restrictions are in place if they are not yet under contract. Further guidance has been produced in respect of anyone that has already exchanged contracts and is moving in the near future.

Gent Law are working to ensure all of our clients conveyancing transactions are moving forward during the lockdown period so that once restrictions do start to lift, they will be in a position to exchange and complete. If clients do wish to sell and buy during this time, and are able to do so safely and in accordance with social distancing restrictions, we will facilitate your request as far as we are able to do so and with the agreement of all other parties in the conveyancing transaction.
